Problem: Make a TV cartoon about cultural stereotypes
It was our first experience with claymation. We created two characters – Apple and Banana – that should represent Lithuanian and Foreign cultures. The soundtracks were recorded by Vadimas Vileita, TV journalist, and Leonas Bartosevicius, a native Brazilian with Lithuanian roots.
The film was released on “Lietuvos Ryto” TV, December 2008.
We transformed our office into animation studio for two weeks. About three kilos of clay were used.
The film ends with three photos from the future friendship of Apple and Banana.
